Autism & Behavioural Science (Graduate Certificate)
You’ll learn to use a variety of evidence-based approaches to develop the skills to support those with Autism Spectrum Disorder by reviewing relevant literature, developing intervention plans, implementing behaviour change programs, facilitating group programming, and more. Emphasis is on the understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis. Two field placements.

Admission Requirements:

  • Minimum of a two-year post-secondary diploma or degree with a specialty in community services or social services including Psychology, Education or related health discipline.

Learn techniques and tools of analytical decision making and utilize these skills to drive the competitiveness of an organization. You’ll be exposed to generic analytics modeling as well as courses in marketing, operations, and business strategy. Discover machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts to solve real-world problems. Program includes a work placement.

Communicative Disorders Assistant (Graduate Certificate)
Focus on strategy development, marketing communications, planning and implementing digital campaigns. You will learn how to utilize digital tools to develop customer-focused marketing programs, as well as digital analytics to predict and measure the success of web, digital, social media, and CRM campaigns. Gain hands-on practical experience through a marketing agency model, solving challenges for real clients, followed by a six-week work placement.

Registered Nurse Critical Care Nursing (Graduate Certificate)
Critical care nurses are responsible for the most vulnerable patients, in the most acute care environments. Those working in critical care are expected to monitor, assess and treat critically ill patients and thus must have an in-depth knowledge base and skill level related to the conditions, treatments and environments in which these patients are cared for.

Prepare to work within recreation, health, or social service delivery systems serving individuals of all ages and abilities. You’ll acquire the skills to complete client assessments, develop and evaluate programs, and use a variety of facilitative techniques to enhance health, improve functional ability, and increase individual’s quality of life. Curriculum is aligned with the Therapeutic Recreation Ontario (TRO) Essential Competency Framework (ECF).
